This week's adventure started off early. Rather than our usual weekend trip, we did a weekday adventure.
Christopher has some really awesome friends, and 1 of them offered us tickets to go on board the RSS Endurance ship. This gigantic ship was docked at Vivocity in celebration of SAF turning 50. How could I say no?! A huge, huge thanks to Charles for the tickets!
Like things couldn't get any better, we had a "special guest" join us on this week's adventure... My mum!
Christian looked around wide-eyed, or at least as wide-eyed as possible while trying to keep the sun out of his eyes. We climbed up and down flights of stairs and walked through narrow hallways, stopping occasionally as Christian pointed out letters on billboards as we passed.
Due to the tight spaces and restricted areas within the ship, letting the little guy down to venture on his own was just out of the question. So mum, the amazing trouper that she was, strapped Christian into his carrier, and carried him the entire way! For someone who had a 12kg toddler strapped on to herself, she did amazing! Mind you those steps, were steep, narrow, and plenty.
As it came to the end of our time there, we let Christian down to roam around on the helicopter deck. And guess what? Like always, Christian went darting around with his eyes fixated on the ground, in search of his little treasure yet again! The little boy is hilarious...
Well, enough said, here are the pictures from our awesome adventure.
